She previously denied the rumors, calling him only a "friend."
January Jones finally confirmed the rumors that she dated Nick Viall.
The "Mad Men" actress opened up about her fling with "The Bachelor" star on Dax Shepard's "Armchair Expert" podcast on Tuesday, revealing Viall reached out to her after she started "blasting" him during interviews because she didn't like how he came across on the show.
"Then Nick slid into my DMs, and he's like, 'I'm so sorry that your perception of me is so negative. I'd love to take you out to coffee and see if I can change your mind.' And I squealed! I was like, 'Oh, my God.' -- I was like, 'I hate that guy!'" she explained with a laugh.

"So I agreed to go on a date with him — or to drinks, or whatever," she began. "As I met him I was rounding the corner and I saw him, and he has a very distinct walk, and I had this instinct to run up to him and wrap my legs around his waist, you know like they do? [But] I stopped myself."
The dates went well, but were mostly focused on the inside gossip of the popular ABC reality dating show.

"That's all we were talking about, really," Jones explained. "But I got a lot of juicy inside stuff."
"When they come out of the limo and they have these little schticks or whatever, producers are handing them to them," she began, referring to the first night of the show where contestants arrive to meet their potential suitor. "And then I just felt bad for the people who get, like, the dolphin costume."
But she did reveal what she found the most interesting about the former model.

When rumors began to fly that the two were officially dating in 2018, Jones told Entertainment Tonight at the time, "He's a friend of mine. He's super sweet. No, I'm single. But, he's a friend of mine and tells me lots of inside scoops."
The dates, however, did provide for a friendship to be born as Jones sat down on Viall's podcast, The Viall Files, just last week to discuss all things "The Bachelor."
