Brooke White, the "Idol" from season seven who's making her acting debut in the Fox TV movie "Change of Plans" Jan 8, has some sage advice for the new crop of contestants.
"It sounds cliche, but you just have to know who you are, and what your voice is, and you got to stay 100 percent true to that," she tells TooFab.
White adds, "And Don't try to imitate past contestants. It's one thing to take influences from people, but don't let it be overshadowed by your own voice. And be prepared for work."
And one of her most important pearls of wisdom? "Don't Google yourself!"
