Jennifer Lawrence just landed the coveted role of Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming film adaptation of "The Hunger Games!"
The 20-year-old actress, who was nominated for an Oscar for her role in "Winter's Bone" this year and will star as a young Mystique in the new "X-Men: First Class," solidified her deal yesterday -- according to TheWrap.
Lawrence beat out contenders like Hailee Steinfeld, Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin and almost every other young starlet in Hollywood right now.
With Katniss cast, attention will likely shift to the roles of Peeta and Gale -- the two young men completing the trilogy's love triangle. Alex Pettyfer, Josh Hutcherson and Hunter Parrish are all reportedly up for Peeta.
