NFL quarterback Tony Romo has found the perfect catch.
The 31-year-old Dallas Cowboy wed 24-year-old Candice Crawford on Saturday in the historic Arlington Hall in Dallas, Texas. Crawford is a former beauty queen and television reporter. She is also the younger sister of "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford.
The small guest list included Chace and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, who got special permission from the NFL to attend. NFL rules state that owners cannot have contact with players, but in this case an exception was made. "I've gotten special permission," Jones said. But more than anything I got the right ticket from him and his fiancee, Romo's wife-to-be. It's one of the prettiest invitations I've ever seen."
Romo's Cowboys teammates Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, Dez Bryant and Miles Austin were also at the ceremony, according to PEOPLE.
The bridesmaids wore Badgley Mischka dresses and guests reportedly received gift bags packed with Neiman Marcus gift cards, a mini bottle of Moet champagne, Keihl's beauty products, chocolates and more.
Romo proposed to Crawford while they were celebrating her 24th birthday last December. They started dating in September 2009, shortly after he split with Jessica Simpson. Romo was also previous linked to Carrie Underwood, whom his new brother-in-law once dated. We doubt it's a topic of conversation that came up at the banquet table.
Congratulations to the newlyweds!
