There was a time when pageants were about gorgeous contestants, glamorous dresses and wishing for world peace.
That was the case until “Toddlers and Tiaras” sashayed its way onto TLC. The series made headlines last year when 3-year-old Paisley wore a costume based on Julia Roberts' prostitute character in “Pretty Woman.”
Well move over Paisley, because 6-year-old Alana is here! Alana's mother June is the “Queen of Couponing” and has spent $9,000 to $10,000 on pageants. “But that's OK," states June. "I've saved it all with my coupons.”
Alana is so over the top, in her interview she goes so far as to say, “"Those other girls must be crazy if they think they're gonna beat me, honey boo-boo child!"
And forget about world peace. Alana's dream? Lots of cash. "A dollar make me holler!" she proclaims.
