Kate McKinnon has become a household name on "Saturday Night Live" -- in large part thanks to her spot-on impression of Ellen DeGeneres!
On Wednesday, Kate finally came face-to-face with her comedic inspiration ... and even dressed up as Ellen on the show.
Talking about meeting the host for the first time, Kate told Ellen "It's like I've met Jesus. If you believe in that sort of thing, I've arrived at the gates and here you are."
"Well, I hope I don't disappoint you," Ellen replied. "I hope it's good. That's a lot of pressure for me."
We're not sure how Kate felt after meeting "Jesus," but the "SNL" star didn't disappoint us!
