Taylor Swift is often mocked for her dancing awkwardly at awards shows -- and now we know why!
The "Red" singer stopped by "Late Night" on Thursday, where she told Seth Meyers all about what it's like to sit front row at these star-studded events.
"I used to get really nervous at awards shows because, seemingly, they're a huge pressure cooker," she explained. "And everybody seems to be sitting there trying to look more unaffected by being at this awards show than the next person next to them."
"That can have an affect on you, and so you're in the front row and you're sitting there like, 'Maybe I should sit here like this,'" the country cutie continued. "A couple years ago I just decided, 'No. This is the coolest concert you could ever go to. This is like all these incredible acts playing their biggest songs and I get to be front row and I'm going to dance during this because I feel like it -- and not because it looks cool, because it doesn't.'"

The blonde beauty also revealed how she looks so good after going to the gym. "That is how everyone looks when they come out of the gym," she joked.
"I picture you in the locker room taking up a lot of space," Meyers said. Watch the clip below to see Taylor's response!
