12 Hollywood Stars Who Love 'Stranger Things'

The teenage star is a GLAAD ally, but was made to look like a homophobe via Photoshopped images.

Millie Bobby Brown deactivated her Twitter account Tuesday after Photoshopped images of her went viral for all the wrong reasons.

The 14-year-old "Stranger Things" star became the target of a series of anti-gay images, as well as the hashtag #TakeDownMillieBobbyBrown. The hashtag had first appeared last November and has since resurfaced this month for Pride.

Brown was extremely active on social media and a proud supporter of GLAAD's Together movement, which "represents unity and support to these communities which include LGBTQ, Muslim, immigrant communities, communities of color, women, and all those who find themselves disenfranchised for being who they are, because no one is just one identity and all of us are under attack."

Creators of these memes have been using old photos from Brown's own social media posts, adding homophobic statements and slurs. Because of the despicable content of the memes, we will not be showing any of them in this post, though some on Twitter have said they originated as a "joke."

TooFab has reached out to Brown's reps for comment, but has yet to hear back. Brown herself has not said whether the memes were behind her decision to pull down her Twitter account either and her Instagram remains active ... with comments turned off. Her anti-bullying account, @Milliestopshate, is still live.

The move comes after "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" star Kelly Marie Tran wiped her Instagram account after months of harassment over her character Rose Tico.

It is unknown why Tran deleted all of her photos, though co-star John Boyega seemingly confirmed it was over the vicious attacks by tweeting, "If you don’t like Star Wars or the characters understand that there are decisions makers and harassing the actors/ actresses will do nothing. You’re not entitled to politeness when your approach is rude. Even if you paid for a ticket!"
