Beth addresses rumors that she and her husband of a decade are getting divorced.
A sigh of relief was breathed on Friday's "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" when Beth Stern confirmed she and Howard Stern were still in "marital bliss."
The actress and animal rights activist sat down with Ellen to address the rumor she and her radio host husband were breaking up -- and explained how it all got started.

What happened was, that morning, I said to Howard, 'You gotta stop walking around so grumpy this week. I mean, you're really just Debbie Downer the past few days. Shape up. Come on. We love our life.'"
"And so he went on the air that morning and said, 'Oh, my wife thinks that I'm so depressed. I hope she still loves me.' That's what I think he said because I don't listen to the show. So next thing I know, you get these Google alerts..."
"Wait, wait, wait, back up," Ellen interrupted. "You don't listen to his show?" Beth said she did not.
"So what do you do when you wake up at 4:45?!" Ellen pressed. (Earlier in the interview, Beth said she and Howard go to sleep around 8 o'clock every night because they both wake up between 4:45 and 5 a.m.)
"I foster 50 cats!" Beth replied. "I have rounds. I'm busy. I really am busy."

"'Howard and Beth Stern Breaking Up,' 'Marital Problems,' there's the picture of us with that lightning bolt in between our heads. And I don't know what's going on! And then apparently, he spoke about us on the air. This was just last week. And then it just spread like wildfire!"
Beth assured Ellen she and Howard were still enjoying "20 years of marital bliss." (They married in 2008 but have been together for much longer.)
"I'm setting the record straight right here," she said. "I love my Howard! He's a great guy."
