The guy who played McLovin in "Superbad" just got tapped to play the role of another nerdy friend ... this time for Disney's remake of the 1985 vamp flick "Fright Night."
Christopher Mintz-Plasse will star alongside Colin Farrell, David Tennant (from "Dr. Who"), and Anton Yelchin (from Star Trek) in the latest vampire movie to hit Hollywood -- playing Yelchin's awkward buddy, who eventually joins the dark side.
As we previously reported, Farrell will play the vampire-next-door ... and we're guessing he won't suck.
