Mega-director James Cameron and the Black Eyed Peas are joining forces on a new project -- a movie "based" on the group's international tours ... and it will be released in 3-D!
Will.i.am tells VIBE, "Right now we are planning our 3-D tour movie and James Cameron is directing it ... The Peas are filming it in South America. People will be able to see us in the theater with the 3-D glasses and everything."
He adds, "There will be a storyline that [Cameron] came up with, which will be dope ... It's a full-length film and it's based around our tour activities."
The movie -- still untitled -- is scheduled for release early next year.
