Natalie Portman might be returning to space -- and she'll be filling Angelina Jolie's shoes if she does.
Portman, who traveled through the galaxy in the "Star Wars" prequels, is reportedly up for a role in "Gravity" -- an "epic survival story" surrounding a woman stranded on a space station.
The movie, which will be directed by "Children of Men" helmer Alfonso Cuaron, was supposed to star Jolie -- but she recently backed out of the role.
The casting coup could be more good news for Portman, who has been getting rave reviews for her work in "Black Swan."
