John Travolta has been in the spotlight a good deal lately, and it's not because of his acting career.
The Oscar nominee has been accused of inappropriate sexual conduct with several masseurs, allegations which the 58-year-old has vehemently denied.
Now Travolta sits down with “Extra's” Jerry Penacoli and details how his 20-year marriage to Kelly Preston has helped him through the rough spots.
“We've always been stable with each other,” he said. “We use our communication skills. We understand what is going on in life and in the industry.”
The actor continued, “I think the toughest part was just the loss of our son [Jett, who tragically died at age 16 from a seizure] and once we were able to get through that -- and times we didn't think we were going to -- I think we figured we could handle anything… Everything else pales in comparison.”
The interview hits a lighter note as well, when the topic turns to on-screen nudity! See what Travolta and his "Savages" costar Taylor Kitsch have to say about it in the full interview above.
The Oliver Stone-directed crime thriller "Savages," also starring Blake Lively, Salma Hayek and Aaron Johnson, hits theaters July 6.
