The production of "Liz & Dick" was slightly marred by Lindsay Lohan's off-set antics, which included a car crash with a giant truck and a 911 scare -- but despite the madness, her costar says they still managed to pull it off.
"We got it, we got it!" an excited Grant Bowler told toofab at the Playboy and "True Blood" party over the weekend in San Diego. Bowler plays Richard Burton in the upcoming Lifetime movie.
Bowler, who was in town promoting his new SyFy series "Defiance," admits it was a tricky shoot -- but not for the reasons you might think.
"That's the process of film making, sometimes it's smooth, sometimes it's rockier," Grant said. "We had enormous logistical issues, challenges, in terms of trying to shoot across three decades of two very famous peoples' lives, the wardrobe, the wigging, all that stuff alone was a job in itself."
The shoot wrapped filming earlier this month, and according to Bowler "I'm very proud of us all, we did a great job."
Of the finished product and his costar, he added "I think we might just get away with it. I thought we did good and Lindsay looks amazing."
