When it comes to making an event extravagant, Hollywood stars call upon Kevin Lee.
The celebrity event planner is known for his over-the-top designs and personality. Who can forget when he nearly gave "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump a heart attack while planning her daughter Pandora's lavish wedding (he's also done the weddings of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston and Bill and Giuliana Rancic).
Not only does he do weddings, but he also designs for award shows. toofab's Christina Moffitino caught up with Kevin at his studio for a preview of the 2012 Emmy Awards Governors Ball. Get a sneak peek at the amazing arrangements and how Kevin's team transforms over 200,000 (!) flowers:
Kevin has been in the floral business for almost 20 years. He started at a small flower shop in West Hollywood and was able to work his way up to the top of the chain. Kevin says creativity is key in order to succeed in this business. "I like working with natural organic stuff. I love nature and creating a sculpture out of fresh flowers inspired me so much."
His talent and flamboyant personality have landed him on a slew of reality shows, too. Expect to see him in Season 3 of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and "Brides of Beverly Hills."
