Nas has just released a new music video to the song "Cherry Wine" featuring his friend, the late Amy Winehouse.
The dapper rapper plays a bartender pouring a glass of cherry wine for his love interest. Amy's image is projected on the wall, as if she is the bar's evening entertainment. The late singer provides the chorus for the song. At the end of the video, Nas pays tribute to the British singer by including an endcard that read "In Memory Amy Winehouse."
"Cherry Wine" isn't the first single where the two collaborated. Nas was featured on Amy's song "Like Smoke," which was featured on her posthumous album "Lioness: Hidden Treasures."
"Amy and I share a birthday, so she was my sister," Nas told NME of their relationship. "And she was just so much fun to be around. She would say things about well-known people in the industry that she didn't like and it would just crack me up ... We were all hoping she would pull through and come back."
"Cherry Wines" comes off Nas' latest album "Life is Good," which debuted this past July.
