This has definitely been a memorable holiday season for Shakira and her soccer star boyfriend -- they just welcomed a baby boy ... maybe.
Proud papa Gerard Piqué announced the news on his Twitter and Facebook accounts Thursday, posting the following message:
"Ya ha nacido nuestro hijo! Estamos muy felices! Gracias a todos por vuestros mensajes!"
[Translation: Our son has already born! We are very happy! Thank you all for your messages!]
However, the announcement may have been a prank for Dia de los Innocentes (Day of the Holy Innocents), the Spanish equivalent of April Fool's Day, as Piqué later posted:
"It has a name! His name is Innocent! Happy Holy Innocents Day to all!"
This would be the first child for the Colombian popstar, 35, and her Spanish beau, 25, who have been together for nearly two years.
Whether or not he's been born yet, we know one thing -- that's going to be one good-looking kid!
