It started off as a very happy new year for Olivia Wilde and "SNL" star Jason Sudeikis -- they got engaged!
People was the first to report that Sudeikis, 37, popped the question "shortly after the holidays," and that he and Wilde, 28, "are so excited, and very, very happy," according to the magazine's source.
Olivia confirmed the news on her Twitter account on Sunday, saying "Thanks for all the sweet congratulatory love, friends! And may I compliment your savvy use of that nifty engagement ring emoticon."
This will be the second marriage for both actors. Wilde divorced Italian Prince Tao Ruspoli in 2011, after eight years of marriage (she was just 19 when they wed!). Sudeikis was previously married to "30 Rock" and "Pitch Perfect" writer Kay Cannon from 2004-2010.
