Missing your weekly fix with Vinny, Turtle, Drama, Ari, and E? Well don't worry, your favorite Hollywood "Entourage" is coming soon(ish) to a theater near you.
Deadline was the first to report that the much-anticipated film version of the hit HBO series has finally been greenlit by Warner Bros.
In basic terms, that means the studio is on board -- with series creator Doug Ellin set to direct -- but deals are just now starting to be made with the main cast members Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon and Kevin Connelly.
The show -- which aired 96 episodes between 2004 and 2011 -- focused on Grenier's character Vinny, a New York boy who became a huge movie star. His entourage consists of his best friend/manager (Connolly), struggling actor brother (Dillon), childhood friend turned lackey turned entrepreneur (Ferrara), and cantankerous agent (Piven).
We're totally on board! We loved the series and are thrilled that the movie is actually starting to become a reality. Anyone else super excited to see what huge Hollywood guest stars will cameo?
