Stephen Colbert is known for cracking jokes, but last night, he shared his vulnerable side with fans while talking about his beloved mother.
On Thursday, the Comedy Central funnyman took a few moments on "The Stephen Colbert Report" to reminisce about his mom, Lorna Tuck Colbert, who passed away last week at the age of 92.
Colbert managed to get through the entire tribute without breaking down in tears, but it's clear that the TV personality is still mourning the loss.
Check out the video above to see all the sweet things Stephen says about his mother.
"I know it may sound greedy to want more days with a person who lived so long," he explained. "But the fact that my mother was 92 does not diminish it; it only magnifies the enormity of the room whose door has now quietly shut."
We're sure she's very proud of her son.
