The "50 Shades of Grey" movie has a release date: August 1, 2014.
No stars have been attached to the big screen adaptation of E. L. James' wildly popular S&M-themed book. Sam Taylor-Johnson, the wife of Aaron Taylor-Johnson ("Kick-Ass," "Anna Karenina"), will direct. But don't expect Sam's husband to play Christian Grey; his publicist shot down those reports last week. Emma Watson has also dismissed reports she'll play Anastasia.
So who should play the handsome lead role? We have our favorites, including "Man of Steel" star Henry Cavill and "Vampire Diaries" hunk Ian Somerhalder.
