"Dead or alive, you're coming with me."
While some of the dialogue from the original 1987 "RoboCop" made it into the new remake, this flick looks like a very different beast.
The first trailer for the 2014 version just dropped online today, showing Joel Kinnaman of "The Killing" fame suiting up as a half-man, half-robot police officer after an explosion leaves him for dead.
And with a killer supporting cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Michael Keaton, Gary Oldman, Abbie Cornish and Jackie Earle Haley, the movie definitely has something going for it.
We're also digging the new streamlined suit -- and appreciate the nod to the classic one as well.
But are audiences ready for a PG-13 "RoboCop"? That's what the filmmakers are aiming for and the gory, over-the-top violence is part of what made the original so memorable.
What do you think of the first trailer?
