Kanye West is back to being the Kanye we all know and love.
The rapper sat down with BBC Radio's Zane Lowe on Monday, where he opened up about many of his frustrations and passions.
From his latest album "Yeezus," to his troubles with the paparazzi and his love for baby mama Kim Kardashian, West was an open book ... with some crazy quotes.
Check out some of the best bites from Part 1 of Kanye's very interesting interview, below!
1. "I'ma take music and try to make it three-dimensional -- like, uh, in 'Star Wars' and the hologram pops out of R2D2 -- I'm gonna make something that jumps up and affects you, in a good or bad way. Whether I'm gonna scream in the middle of a track, because that's just the way feel -- I'm not here to make easy listening, programmable music."
2. "There would no be Kanye West if it wasn't for Michael Jackson. I've got to a point that Michael Jackson did not break down. I have reached the glass ceiling, as a creative person, as a celebrity [...] and I've been at it for 10 years. I look around and I say, 'Wait a minute. There's no one around in here that looks like me. And if they are, they're quiet as f-**k.'"
3. "Nobody thinks of the names I've been called for wearing tight jeans. I brought real rap back, I'm going to do dope things."
4. "Rap is the new Rock 'n' Roll. We the rock stars. We the real rock stars, and I'm the biggest of all of 'em."
People magazine also reports that during the one-hour long interview with BBC, West goes on to gush about his girlfriend Kim and their daughter North West. The rest of West's interview will be aired in four parts.
On Kim:
"Family time – it's what Kim gave me. She was in a powerful enough situation where she could love me without asking me for money, which is really hard for me to find."
On his goal to change paparazzi laws:
"I'm going to tell my daughter, by the time she understands what it was, 'Man, me and your mother were in a completely different situation than you're in. People could take pictures, people could climb over your fence, and you wouldn't even get paid for it. You see all these checks that you getting at age 6 because people are taking your picture? … I made that happen, Nori.' That's what I'm going to tell her."
