It's not easy to be cut first, a lesson Keyshawn Johnson learned Monday night on "Dancing With The Stars."
The NFL star and his partner Sharna Burgess were the first couple eliminated on Season 17 after their scores from last week's dance, the audience vote, and this week's dance score were tabulated (the performances and eliminations are merged into single episodes this season).
"I don't really care at this point about whether we win or lose. It's just about the fact that I had the opportunity to learn from her," Keyshawn said of his pro partner. "I think she's an amazing choreographer and her time will come. I wish I could have done more to help her out."
Ironically, it was Bill Nye and Tyne Stecklein who received the lowest judges' scores from Week 1 and Week 2, but the audience votes saved them.
Leah Remini addressed her exit from the Church of Scientology during Monday's show. "The Church is looking for me to fail, so they can say to their parishioners 'See what happens when you leave the Church,'" she told her partner Tony Dovolani. However, she found support from the audience and judges, landing in the top half of this week's scores with a standout samba (and that dress!).
Amber Riley couldn't duplicate her record-making performance from Week 1, but still impressed with an entertaining jive. Her partner, Derek Hough, was still beaming from his Emmy win.
The new leaders of the pack were Corbin Bleu and Karina Smirnoff, who also did a jive (with a "High School Musical" theme).
Trailing the duo were Elizabeth Berkley and Val Chmerkovskiy, and Christina Milian and Mark Ballas -- who danced to Lady Gaga. All three celebs are considered frontrunners with their dance backgrounds.
