Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner have separated after 22 years of marriage.
"We are living separately and we are much happier this way," they said in a joint statement to E!, the network that also airs their reality show, "Keeping Up With the Kardashians."
"But we will always have much love and respect for each other," they added. "Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority."
Kris and Bruce have two biological daughters -- Kendall, 17, and Kylie, 16.
Kris has four kids -- Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob -- from her marriage to the late Robert Kardashian.
Bruce has two sons with ex-wife Linda Thompson -- Brandon and Brody.
Marital issues have plagued the famous family over the last few years. Khloe Kardashian's relationship with husband Lamar Odom has been stressed due to his depression and drug use. And of course, Kim was famously married to Kris Humphries for only 72 days.
