Could we be seeing a lot less S&M on the big screen?
One Internet rumor caused a lot of uproar today, as a random website reported that the film adaptation of the E.L. James' "Fifty Shades" trilogy was going to be condensed into one film.
So, instead of getting at least three flicks packed with paddles, whips and Christian Grey's "Red Room of Pain," this latest report suggested we'd only get a solo outing.
As evidence, the post said stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan are scheduled to film scenes from the third book next month ... and cited an alleged production company press release.
So, we had to ask, is there any truth to this horrible rumor?
We reached out to Universal, who confirmed to toofab that the report is indeed false.
Phew, that means "Fifty Shades of Grey," "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed" will all get their own full-feature treatment ... as long as the first flick isn't a total flop!
