Warning: This post contains a few spoilers about the "Veronica Mars" movie. If you haven't seen it yet -- hurry up, then keep reading!
There were quite a few happy Marshmallows over the weekend, as the Kickstarter-funded "Veronica Mars" movie hit theaters and VOD platforms around the world.
And the end of the flick definitely left it open for a new chapter.
With an opening weekend haul of over $2 million and Warner Bros. reportedly happy with the film's "significant" haul, toofab's Brian Particelli sat down with the film's star Jason Dohring to talk about the possibility of a sequel.
"Wherever there's a [director] Rob Thomas story to be told, there are actors that will want to do those roles," Dohring tells toofab. "This was probably the best role I've ever done, I got to be the bad boy who defames police cars, this awesome love story, so if I can continue it, I'd love to do it."
"We've also talked about like a mini Bond franchise, in the $5-10 million range," he adds. "I think that would also suit us well."
Check out the video above to see how Jason feels about poor, poor Piz, what it was like sneaking into a screening of the movie over the weekend, and if he thinks LoVe (Logan and Veronica) will have the happy ending fans so eagerly want.
"Veronica Mars" is in theaters (and on iTunes!) now.
