Jennifer Lawrence is still waiting for her turn to dance with Jennifer Lopez!
The "First Love" singer stopped by "The Tonight Show," where Jimmy Fallon recalled the time J.Law wanted to dance with Lopez ... but was shot down by the pop star.
"Jennifer Lawrence goes, 'Let's spin around three times like we're dancing, and then we'll look at J.Lo for the third spin, we'll put our hands out and say, Will you please dance with us?'" Jimmy said, while talking about the duo's dance at an after party for the Met Ball.
The 44-year-old then told her side of the story, explaining that she was really into Kanye West's performance and didn't want to go into the crowded space.
"I remember seeing you guys come over, and I remember Jennifer asking, 'Let's go out to the dance floor and dance!' That's how I remember it. 'Let's go dance out there where everybody's dancing!'" she said. "And I'm like, 'Nah, I'm good right here.' I kind of felt like she was sad. I didn't mean it like that! I just meant it's crazy out there."
While the "X-Men" star may still be waiting for her turn to dance with the "I Luh Ya Papi" singer, Fallon got his chance last night -- check out the cute video above!
