It's official -- Cameron Diaz is a married women!
The 42-year-old actress tied the knot with rocker beau Benji Madden in a super intimate ceremony at her Beverly Hills home on Monday night.
The newlyweds released a statement to People confirming the news. "We couldn't be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends," their reps told the mag in a statement.
The now newlyweds, who reportedly started dating in May 2014, had quiet the whirlwind romance. The "Sex Tape" star and the 35-year-old just got engaged in December.
About 100 people attended the private nuptials, including Diaz's close pal Drew Barrymore and Madden's sister-in-law Nicole Richie, who both served as bridesmaids.
This wedding is quite a shocker considering how vocal Cameron has been about monogamy in the past.
Last year, she revealed what she really thought of marital bliss. "A lot of people chase after it because they've been told, 'This equals happiness.' They chase it, they get it, and they find out, 'Why did I think this was going to make me happy? I'm miserable!' I don't know if anyone is really naturally monogamous," she said InStyle's May 2014 issue.
