Bethany Hamilton and husband Adam Dirks are expecting their first child together -- and the pro surfer revealed the news Monday on her Instagram page with an adorable announcement.
"So we have a little surprise for you...baby on board!" the 25-year-old beauty says in their joint announcement video online. "She's pregnant!" the proud papa-to-be added.
"In baby terms I'm about 22 weeks, which is about halfway there," she explained. "It's been a pretty crazy last four months finding out that we're gonna be parents. Life's kinda gonna be changing and kinda just starting to prep for bringing a new little being into the world. It's all really exciting."
While they won't reveal the baby name, Dirks did let the kid's gender slip. "We found out it's a boy so we're looking for boy names. We've got a few in mind."
The "Amazing Race" alum says she's been staying super-fit throughout the pregnancy by continuing to hit the waves. "I've been surfing throughout my whole pregnancy," she dished. "I plan to surf as long as I can. Once the belly's pretty big maybe just like mellow it out and spend more time swimming and just enjoying the ocean and doing other activities."
The beach-loving couple got hitched in August 2013 in a small ceremony near their Hawaiian home.
