It's finally happening!
We're getting our first look at the movie adaptation of "Jem and the Holograms" -- and these ladies look ready to rock.
In the new photo, Hayley Kiyoko (Aja), Aubrey Peeples (Jem) and Stefanie Scott (Kimber) are pictured rocking out on stage decked out from head-to-toe in some awesome '80s gear.
The movie -- which has been adapted from the beloved '80s cartoon -- follows the story of young music company owner who uses new tech to disguise herself as a rockstar.
"Jem and the Holograms" will be produced by Blumhouse Productions and toofab's Brian Particelli recently sat down with head honcho Jason Blum.
While "Jem" seems like a big departure from Blum's usual productions (he's the man behind horror flicks like "Paranormal Activity," "The Purge" and "Sinister"), he's excited about the new cartoon adaptation.
"With 'Jem and the Holograms,' we're seeing if our low budget model works for a brand. It's really Jon Chu's movie, he did a great job on the movie," Jason told us about the new fantasy flick.
"You're gonna love the movie. I'm in love with the movie. It so hits the theme of what the series hits, it's f**king great," Blum added.
We can't wait to see these ladies rock out on the big screen when "Jem and the Holograms" hits theaters October 23!
