This is a whole new Madonna.
The Queen of Pop stopped by the "Tonight Show" on Thursday for a very special performance with a little help from host Jimmy Fallon and The Roots.
The group piled into a dressing room and did a rendition of the 56-year-old's 1983 hit "Holiday" using only classroom instruments!
Clad in Hawaiian shirts and sunglasses, Jimmy and his band jammed out to the iconic song from the star's debut album. Madonna kept it cool in her usual funky style with a graphic chain t-shirt, belt, fishnet gloves and tights.
Some of the silly instruments included Fallon's wood block, the singer's cowbell, Questlove with the "hand-clappers" ... and we even spotted some kazoos and fruit shakers!
The memorable song was Madonna's first US hit -- and we're loving this "remixed" version.
"I'm definitely not cool enough for my kids, they remind me everyday about how uncool I am," Madonna said during her interview with Jimmy. "They tell me everyday whatever I do I can't be 'basic'. That's all I hear, 'Mom that's so basic'".
Well, at least the mom-of four's kids approve of one thing: "Doing your show is not basic that got the thumbs up," she told Fallon.
