Ellie Kemper's high school drama teacher was hotter than yours!
The "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" star opened up about taking a high school drama class taught by the "Mad Men" star during the Netflix TCA panel on Tuesday.
Hamm was an alum at Kemper's high school and came back after college to teach drama for one year, where the red-headed beauty was lucky enough to study under the "Bridesmaids" star!
"He was not ugly," the 35-year-old told reporters of Hamm. "He was a wonderful teacher."
"I was in ninth grade and he taught me the improv section of my theater class, and everyone loved him," she added.
The actors recently reunited on "The Office" alum's new show, where Hamm made a guest appearance as Rev. Richard Wayne Gary Wayne.
"When they told us that he would be playing the reverend, it was fantastic. But I was a little scared," Kemper said of their "Kimmy Schmidt" reunion. "I think there's still a teacher-student dynamic, and acting with him was a little bit nerve-racking just because I felt like he was still grading me on some level. But he's a wonderful man and it was a lot of fun."
We would have loved to have a high school teacher as good-looking and talented as Mr. Hamm, too!
