UPDATE: After initially denying any connection to Ashley Madison to Daily Mail, Josh Taekman is now admitting he had an account.
"I signed up for the site foolishly and ignorantly with a group of friends and I deeply apologize for any embarrassment or pain I have brought to my wife and family," the couple tells toofab. "We both look forward to moving past this and getting on with our lives."
The Ashley Madison leak keeps exposing some interesting names -- and now, one of the stars of "Real Housewives of New York" is speaking out about his reported connection.
Earlier today, Kristen Taekman's husband, Josh Taekman, was linked to the scandal by the Daily Mail -- who said someone with his name had opened an account on the cheater website. The credit card records also reportedly correspond with the couple's Tribeca address.
"I don't understand. There's not a shot in hell that I'm a subscriber," Taekman told the paper. "I have no knowledge of that. This is the first I've ever heard of it."
"This is crazy. I saw it on the TV the other day about the security breach and we were laughing about it," he continued. "It is what it is, but somebody is definitely fraudulently using my name and number."
The Taekmans have been married for 10 years and have two children together.
We've reached out to Kristen's rep to see if she had her own statement, but haven't heard back.
Josh isn't the first celeb to be linked to the affair-seeking site.
TLC reality star Josh Duggar was among the millions of names exposed in the leak, the reality star later issuing a statement saying he was secretly addicted to porn and had been "unfaithful" to his wife.
Viral video star Sam Rader also copped to his account, saying it was brought to his wife's attention years ago and she has already forgiven him.
