Caitlyn Jenner can't wait for the day when she'll be seen as a "normal woman" by men.
In a clip from this week's "I Am Cait," we see the reality TV star chatting with new friend Jennifer Boylan about her desire to be accepted by the opposite sex now that she's transitioned.
"It would be very attractive to me to have a guy treat me like a woman," she tells her friend. "That you would be treated like a normal woman, like any other woman on the street and not make it this big trans thing. Just a normal relationship."
The comment surprises Boylan, who says a man's validation won't make her any more of a woman.
"It's a thing that women do. We look to men to give us self-worth," Boylan says. "I think now that you're in the sisterhood, you have gone through such trouble to become a woman. Don't be a stupid one. Be a smart one."
Without some greater context, it's hard to tell if Caitlyn means for dating or just in general. Just last week, we saw Jenner struggle with feeling accepted by the male friends she had when she was living as Bruce.
"Everybody seems to be very supportive," she said in a conversation with Scott Disick, "it's just a guy thing, I've just struggled with it."
After Scott admitted that yes, he's not sure if "every man in the world will be as comfortable as I am," Cait then brought up Kim Kardashian's ex-husband, Kris Humphries.
"Kind of like, Kris Humphries? Did you hear what he said after the Diane Sawyer piece?" she asks him. "Kris 'Idiot' Humphries tweets 'Thank God I got out of that family in time' and just got absolutely ripped!"
Earlier in the season, Jenner also had a conversation about dating with a group of trans women, where she said "You would feel so much more feminine if you were with a guy."
When pressed about whether she was attracted to men, she said she had only been with women in the past but added she could "appreciate the male form."
"As far as dating and the future, I have absolutely no idea," she concluded at the time.
