In the past three and a half years, Sean Lowe has appeared on "The Bachelorette," was "The Bachelor," married the winner of that show, Catherine Giudici, in a televised event, competed on "Dancing with the Stars," traded places with the Mesnicks on "Wife Swap" and will expose a few relationship flaws on the upcoming season of "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" -- so it's safe to say he's gotten comfortable with sharing his personal life with a television audience.
But, looking back now, there's one show he wishes he and his wife never agreed to do.
"I do regret 'Wife Swap,'" Lowe tells toofab while promoting "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars." "That was all scripted and they kind of made me look like a jerk!"
Lowe's time on the small screen has taught him it's all about the editing -- so he was wary to say whether the couple's stint in the "Boot Camp" house was a good idea, since he hasn't seen the finished product yet.
"I don't know [if it was for the best]," he admits. "We had a strong relationship going in, I think we still have a strong relationship and they did teach us some tools that have benefited us. I think a lot of my answer depends on how we're going to be portrayed on this thing. If it's not good, then no, it wasn't the best move."
And with so much reality TV already under the couple's belt, Catherine says it might finally be time to step away from the constant cameras.
"We've never known anything different," she explains. "This might be the end. We just love being with each other. Normally, we're shown as we are, which is fun, playful, silly ... so we'll see that happens. I think, right now, we're happy living that life, just us knowing it."
Check out the video above to see why the seemingly perfect duo decided to appear on "Marriage Boot Camp" in the first place -- and how their experiences in the house compared to their time on "The Bachelor."
"Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars" premieres December 4 at 9pm on WE tv.
