They're baaaaaaack!
The show that launched the likes of Honey Boo Boo and Eden Wood is returning to TLC after three years off the air, as the network just announced a new 13-episode season of "Toddlers & Tiaras" will debut in August.
"TLC's buzzworthy series TODDLERS AND TIARAS is back with even more glitter, glamour and drama than ever before. This new supersized season revisits the cutthroat world of child beauty pageants – all the pretty and the not so pretty – revealing how the circuit has evolved over the last few years," reads a press release. "From luxurious beauty treatments and private jets to relaxation exercises and acting classes, the stakes are higher for these young competitors and their fierce mothers who will do whatever it takes to win."
The release and the teaser above explain how previous secrets like flippers and spray tans are considered "just the baseline" these days, as the girls competing now endure rigorous physical training and use collagen spray to keep them wrinkle-free!
"You have to be talented, you have to have a good body, even when you're 5-years-old," one coach reveals in the sneak peek. "Now we have acting classes, facial classes, collagen sprays. Some people think the collagen sprays are kinda crazy, but I wish when I was 3-years-old somebody gave me a collagen spray so I wouldn't have to worry about giving happy eyes all day."
Some of the girls even use hypnotherapy!
