Miranda Lambert, Dolly Parton, Florida Georgia Line, and Little Big Town were the latest to get dragged on Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets" segment … and the results are hilarious!
Lambert's forehead took the stage as one Twitter user blasted, "In case of a national emergency, all air traffic will be redirected to Miranda Lambert's forehead."
The "Cruise" singers were called "douches" in another vociferous tweet, which read, "The guys from Florida Georgia Line were engineered in a douche factory." The famous duo clapped back, "Right down the road from here, actually!"
Poor Dolly was compared to a lady of the night in another message, which she graciously read aloud. "It's not a hooker convention, it's a Dolly Parton concert," the tweet read. She laughed off the diss, though, responding, "I guess I should feel hurt, but I don't because I patterned my look after a hooker!"
Kimberly Schlapman, vocalist for Little Big Town, had some even more serious shade thrown at her. "Why does the blonde in Little Big Town have hair like a 'Zoolander' villain?"
They were, of course, referring to the film franchise's Mugatu, played by Will Ferrell.
Of award-winning country star Trace Adkins, another user tweeted, "Just because you have a beard, a ponytail, and a cowboy hat, doesn't mean you can sing. You know how I know? Trace Adkins."
Ouch!
Bonnie Raitt even took some serious flak when a follower said, "Bonnie Raitt looks like the aunt who would have a few too many at your mom's birthday party and try to fight with your dad."
Okay, that one's funny … and maybe a little accurate.
Hunter Hayes' mean tweet was probably the sweetest of them all, no pun intended.
"Hunter Hayes seems like the kind of guy that would drink Bacardi Breezers and from a water bottle then lie about what it was," Hayes read. "Okay, maybe," he responded.
The attack on Willie Nelson put the icing on the cake, however. The 83-year-old country legend read, "Willie Nelson, you're getting pretty crusty, pal."
All in all, a pretty epic "Mean Tweets" segment if we say so ourselves!
