Is that what friends are for?
Calvin Harris finally made nice with ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift, acknowledging her work on "This is What You Came For" in an unprecedented tweet ... and we're still reeling over the implications of it.
Late last night, Harris quoted a Twitter comment congratulating him and Rihanna on their single going double platinum in the UK ... but instead of simply retweeting the congratulatory tweet, he added Taylor to the mix.
"I am blessed to work with incredible artists @rihanna @taylorswift13 thank you!!!," he added.
That sounds promising, right?
This is the first time that Calvin's dared to use Taylor's name since September, when he only addressed their breakup.
In an interview with British GQ, Calvin said, "It's very difficult when something I consider so personal plays out very publicly. The aftermath of the relationship was way more heavily publicized than the relationship itself. When we were together, we were very careful for it not to be a media circus. She respected my feelings in that sense. I'm not good at being a celebrity."
When things ended, however, they took a turn for the worse. Harris said that when things ultimately ended "all hell broke loose," and seemingly referred to his Twitter meltdowns, which attacked Swift's character.
It sure looks like he's sorry now!
