Ready to go back to the beach?
Universal Pictures just released the first teaser trailer for its upcoming "Baywatch" film starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra, Alexandra Daddario and Kelly Rohrbach.
"BAYWATCH follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) as he butts heads with a brash new recruit (Efron). Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay," reads the official synopsis.
Everything you loved about the original series is here, as a group of incredibly attractive lifeguards save the day in some barely-there suits. The trailer proves the film will be along the lines of the "21 Jump Street" reboot, with raunchy humor and stylized action.
Chopra only appears briefly in the video, but she's set to be the film's main villain.
And yes, the show's infamous slow-motion running gets a special shoutout as well.
