Paris Jackson's cover issue of Harper's Bazaar has turned sour for the budding model and actress, who is slamming the media for "misquotes" after various outlets zeroed in on a quote that suggested she was Michael Jackson's favorite child.
The interview by "Sex and the City" author Candace Bushnell covers her career, that Parisian photo shoot, her struggles with depression following her father's death, and her laid-back lifestyle in Los Angeles; but many publications (including TooFab) were intrigued by an exchange where Paris said she was treated as the "favorite" by her famous father.
"I wasn't around a lot of other girls," she told Harper's Bazaar. "When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers. Growing up, I was treated as the favorite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad's eyes."

It's not clear if she's accusing Harper's Bazaar of misquoting her or if she thought other outlets picking up the interview misinterpreted the quote.
In response to ExtraTV tweeting, "@ParisJackson reveals she was Michael's favorite," she fired back, "Another misquote. He never picked favorites."
"This is just getting annoying now," she tweeted to Access Hollywood. "Once again, he didn't pick favorites. That article was filled to the brim with misquotes."

What makes me 'sad' is the manipulation and lies from grown adults towards a teenager just for $$."
