Trevor Noah gave Megyn Kelly props for not holding back during her interview with Russian president Vladimir Putin, but "Daily Show" correspondent Michelle Wolf definitely didn't see things the same way.
Wolf went on a 6-minute rant against the former Fox News host, starting off her segment by saying, "Seeing someone so conniving trying to manipulate the American public was disgusting. I'm not talking about Putin."
"Last night on her new show, she acted like she didn't spend the last 12 years of her life as a soldier in Fox News' culture war," Wolf said.
Critics and Viewers Pile on Megyn Kelly's Interview With Vladimir Putin
View Story"Now that you're at NBC, you're acting all peaceful like some sort of Mahatma Blondie? Before she was NBC News' Megyn Kelly, for over a decade she was Fox News' Megyn Kelly," she went on. "Basically a pretty, race-baiting puppet who Roger Ailes kept trying to put his hand up. Oh don't worry, she's on network now and he's dead, they're both in better places."
Wolf then played a montage of clips from Kelly's time at Fox News, showing her being combative with guests and claiming "Jesus was a white man too."
"Megyn was the Tony Harding of cable news for 12 years, breaking journalism's kneecaps over and over and we were just the poor Nancy Kerrigan's going 'Whyyyyyy? Whyyyy?'" Wolf joked. "And now you just expect us to forgive you now that you made the Olympics? I don't think so Tonya."

View StoryNoah interrupted, saying he thought she was being "a little hard" on Kelly.
"Oh really? 5 months ago she was part of the problem. She was the queen of the problem. Now she acts all high and mighty saying she doesn't watch TV news and she only consumes news by print," Wolf responded. "This is like finding out Ronald McDonald only eats broccoli rabe. And it would be one thing if Megyn were owning her past. But she's like, 'Oh me? I never watch that garbage I used to put out.'"
"Sorry Megyn, you're not the new Barbara Walters. You're that Sprint-Verizon guy who just follows the money," she added. "I'm on NBC now, can you hear me now? Maybe you thought doing this interview with Putin would be good because he's so skilled at making journalists vanish, but Meggie, we still see you!"
Meanwhile, over at "Jimmy Kimmel Live!", the host didn't go in on Kelly herself but mocked the interview by giving Putin's responses some new translations.
When asked if about "what kind of info he may or may not have on our president," faux Putin had this to say:
"The media is making up stories. They are bored it's ridiculous. I don't have anything damaging on President Trump. Except for the hotel pee pee tapes, I have ... I watch one every night before bed."
