Competitiveness trumped friendship when David Beckham and James Corden ran into one another at the same audition for "James Bond" in a segment on "The Late Late Show" Thursday night.
"You know this is an audition for 'James Bond,' right? It's not like an underwear commercial," Corden said, stunned to see Beckham walk into the same makeshift audition for which he was already busy prepping.
When the two were called into the audition room and given different scenes from the film to act out, it became obvious to Corden that the pro soccer star was determined to sabotage the comedian.

The audition hilariously escalated from verbal insults to face slapping to drink throwing until the fed up casting director sent them both home.
"We shouldn't be fighting like this. We're a team. We should be working together," Corden said before hugging it out with Beckham.
