Caitlyn Jenner riled up liberals and delighted Republicans with a cutting joke about the Alexandria attack by a Trump-hating gunman that left Rep. Steve Scalise in critical condition last week.
Speaking to the College Republican National Commitee's convention on Friday, Jenner condemned the shooting, saying “Nobody deserves what happened out there. There's no justification. There's crazy people, we have to minimize that kind of stuff. But as far as people that were injured, it's an absolute shame. Fortunately, the guy was a really bad shot. Liberals can't even shoot straight.”
The remark drew big laughs from the crowd of young Republicans.
Jenner has revealed that she voted for Donald Trump in the 2016 election, though she has spoken out against him for withdrawing protections for transgender students in public schools.

View StoryOne policy she does agree with is Trump's decision to withdraw from the Paris Climate Accord.
“I am all for getting out of the Paris Accord,” she told the convention, getting a round of applause. “I want to be good stewards of our world, and I want us to be part of it. But I want to unleash the American entrepreneur as best we can with the least amount of restrictions to find solutions for a lot of the issues that we have when it comes to climate.”
She went on to say the U.S. is “doing a better job” with environmental issues, and claimed the Paris Accord was “just a way for the rest of the world to ruin us economically.”
Her remarks drew heavy criticism from critics online, including members of the LGBT community.
