"Floribama Shore" star Aimee Hall is no longer allowing body-shamers get the best of her.
TooFab spoke to the reality star ahead of Monday night's episode, which sees her cast members trying to cheer Aimee up after Codi Butts and Kirk Medas told her they wouldn't hook up with her if she was the last woman on Earth based upon her physical appearance last week.

View Story"I try not to listen to what others say when they call me fat and ugly. I don't take it to heart anymore, I just say they're jealous," Hall told TooFab.
That being said, it wasn't easy for her to watch Codi's comments to her in the previous episode.
"When I watched the episode, I almost started crying again because it really hurt my feelings. When they say stuff like that, it makes my self-esteem really low and makes me feel like I'm not pretty," Aimee said. "I just wish everyone would understand that words hurt. I hope that all of the viewers learn that because self-esteem issues are a real thing and insecurities are a real thing, and when you say stuff like that to people, you don't realize how much you knock them down."

View StoryLooking back, Aimee said her experiences on the show -- good and bad -- "changed her life."
"I feel like I love myself a lot more than I used to. That show really changed my life and in a positive way," she said. "I try to be a better person too, like watching myself on the show, I saw things that I did that I wish I wouldn't have did, so I feel like it made me a better person."
And while Codi's comments are water under the bridge, don't expect any romance there going forward.
"I would never hook up with Codi," she said. "I would never hook up with any of the guys in the house because they're all like family to me and who wants to hook up with their brothers? Gross."
"Floribama Shore" airs Mondays at 10 P.M. ET on MTV.
