Sarah Hyland isn't feeling her best.
In honor of National Selfie Day Thursday evening, the actress revealed to Instagram that she has been hospitalized. In the photo she is wearing a hospital gown and seems to have swollen eyelids.

View Story"Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle and feelin cute," she wrote on her Instagram story. "This time for #nationalselfieday I've decided to share my truth. As painful as it is."
"So here is my face that was torn from work against my will. But I'm very grateful it was. Health should always come first #stayhealthymyfriends."

Hyland also posted a video to her story of her and her dog cuddling in bed. "Can't wait to come back to my precious angel princess," she wrote. She's perfect and knows exactly what I need at all times.
"This was taken this past Sunday. Day before hospitalization. She was literally telling me to get treatment," she added.
The "Modern Family" star has opened up in the past with her health struggles, specifically her battle with kidney dysplasia. This required her to undergo a kidney transplant in 2012 and also causes her weight to fluctuate.
