Sarah Hyland's 'Bachelorette' Boyfriend Gives Her Birthday Tributes Both Heartwarming and Raunchy

Sarah Hyland celebrated her 28th birthday on Saturday in style, and boyfriend Wells Adams was all over it, with sentiments both beautiful and carnal.

The "Bachelorette" and "Bachelor in Paradise" star kicked things off with a series of photos of the couple enjoying the snowfall in the Northeast with absolutely gorgeous sentiments, describing their relationship as "that can't-eat, can't-sleep, reach-for-the-stars, over-the-fence, World Series kind of stuff."

"Happy birthday Sarah Hyland," he captioned a stunning pic of the two them smiling in the snow. "You're perfect and I love you most. Now pack your bags, cus baby, we're jumping on a plane and heading down to the islands tomorrow!"

He wasn't kidding, either, as nine hours later, the "Modern Family" star shared a picture to her Instagram that looked much warmer. The smile, however, remained unchanged.

This time, Hyland skipped the scarf and went with a skimpy two-piece swimsuit. Her birthday sentiments were short and simple. "27. You were amazing," She wrote. "28. Whatcha got for me?"

The former "Bachelor in Paradise" bartender slid right into those comments with a cheeky and sexually charged response.

So it looks like island life is going well for the couple. It's certainly a memorable way to celebrate a birthday in the middle of a snowy winter in New York.

The couple celebrated their one-year anniversary in September, and appear to be going strong. Wells has often come to Hyland's defense from social media trolls, most often when they criticize her petite frame.

Hyland received a kidney transplant from her father in 2012, and the anti-rejection medicines and steroids she has taken since have made it difficult for her to gain weight. That doesn't stop the Internet from criticizing her for being "too skinny" almost any time she posts an image of herself, and especially in a bikini.

This image was no different, with several negative comments appearing, but rather than attack any of them directly, Wells went with a far more direct response, targeting Hyland herself.

Let the haters say what they will, his eye was on the prize he'd already won. And you know, a combination of sweet and sexy sentiments for a birthday celebration from her man isn't the worst thing a girl could get.

Plus, Hyland could use the rest and vacation after what just happened on "Modern Family." Actually, maybe her character could use the vacation even more. In the latest episode, Haley found out she was pregnant.
