Cruz tries to bait the comedian into another grudge match.
Texas Senator Ted Cruz has clapped back at Jimmy Kimmel for airing a sketch in which God and Satan condemned him to Hell.
"Really getting into the Christmas spirit, Jimmy Kimmel just aired a skit with 'God and Satan' arguing and eventually deciding that I should go to Hell," the Texas senator tweeted Wednesday. "It's almost as if Jimmy's feelings are still hurt that I kicked his ass at hoops."

The basketball comment was in reference to Cruz beating Kimmel in a one-on-one game for charity over the summer, but what prompted the clapback was a segment the late-night host did on Tuesday's "Jimmy Kimmel Live." He enlisted the help of comedian Billy Crystal to play God and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl to play Satan.
During a game "Who Goes Where?" with Kimmel, the two deities couldn't decide who got stuck with Cruz.
"Which one of us is going to get Ted Cruz?" God asked.
