The "Tonight Show" turns into a humorous "Black Mirror" episode.
What if something like "Black Mirror: Bandersnatch" actually happened IRL?
Jimmy Fallon and "Tonight Show" sidekick Steve Higgins explored that question on Friday night when they aired a choose-your-own-adventure sketch parodying the Netflix hit.
'Black Mirror: Bandersnatch' Creator's Epic Response to People Who Hate Netflix's Choose-Your-Own Adventure Movie
View StorySince its debut last month, "Bandersnatch" has both captivated and stressed out viewers. The streaming service's first interactive film follows a young programmer in the '80s trying to create a choose-your-own-adventure video game, inspired by the books that were popular in the same decade.
In the sketch, the men joined in a casual conversation in an office but were blissfully unaware they were puppets to an unseen puppeteer who was controlling their moves.
The chosen decisions started out simple, like choosing if they wanted some gum, and then continued to get more and more ridiculous, like when Fallon had to hula hoop while clapping, or when they started slapping each other in the face repeatedly.
That last part, alone, makes this bit worth watching.
