Relatable.
Amy Schumer hates grueling workouts as much the rest of us do, but she went so far as to legally order her personal trainer to -- well -- calm down.
The comedian had the trainer in question, fitness expert AJ Fisher, as one of her guests on Tuesday's episode of her "3 Girls, 1 Keith" podcast, during which she told her listeners about the time she sent Fisher an official cease and desist letter.

View Story"I did have my lawyer, Isaac Dunham, send her a cease and desist," Schumer confessed on the air, adding that this was the same attorney she "bought bench ads for without his permission, so his face was on benches for several months." Clearly, trolling is just in her nature.
While Fisher said she knew Schumer's legal threats were all in good fun, the letter did jolt her. "Amy told me after several of our sessions, 'You will be hearing from my lawyer,'" she said. "Like, without even saying bye. And then, when I finally heard from her lawyer, I opened the letter, and I actually got goosebumps. I had a moment of, 'Was she serious? Is my career totally over?'"
"Oh, my gosh. I hope so!" Schumer joked in response.

View StoryLucky for us, the comedian immediately shared a copy of the letter on Instagram, in which her actual attorneys notify Fisher that it's come to their attention that she's "forced Ms. Schumer to perform extreme and unduly punishing physical exercise well outside the bounds of normal physical training."
"Indeed Ms. Schumer has been unable to perform simple daily tasks like walking and picking up her child as a result of such 'exercise,'" the letter continued. "Your blatant disregard of Ms. Schumer's well-being can only be interpreted as a deliberate effort to cause Ms. Schumer emotional distress, potential physical injury and lost revenue. It may even be determined to be a violation of her human rights."

View StoryIn her caption, the comedian explained the backstory and point-blank said she did it because she "thought the workouts were so hard."
"I jokingly threatened to do it during our workouts for months. This is it!" she wrote, later adding, "Aj is an amazing trainer and is the reason I feel strong and good and have recovered from my herniated discs and c section. Was this is a wasteful use of resources? Very very much so but it brought me so much joy."
